Miranda Borkan

Miranda Borkan graduated in 2010 and was a proud founding member of Extensions Dance Company as well as a 6 year company veteran.  She attended Ailey/Fordham BFA program and graduated with a double major in Dance Performance and Theology in 2014. After graduating she became a performing apprentice with River North Dance Chicago.  She then joined Cirqua Rivera Dance Company and became their rehearsal director, meanwhile she also enjoyed teaching at Extensions Dance Center and acting as assistant to the director, running numerous rehearsals, coaching sessions and setting original choreography on the company.  She has spent 2 summers as a company member with Dance In The Parks and she was a company apprentice for Visceral Dance Chicago for 1 season. She has danced with the Lyric Opera of Chicago and she made her musical theater debut in 2018 as an ensemble member in the Marriott Theatre’s production of “Oklahoma!”.  She is currently dancing with Odyssey Dance Theatre in Utah and is looking forward to her 2nd musical theatre endeavor this winter with “The Producer’s” at The Paramount Theater in Aurora, IL.
