Summer began studying dance at age 3, beginning at Joel Hall Dance Center and then moving to Gus Giordano, both on Chicago’s north side. She quickly developed a love for all styles of dance and spent four years training and performing with the Gus Youth Company. Her commitment to dance and passion to perform have allowed Summer to flourish as a young performing artist. In 2019, Summer earned a Junior Scholarship Finalist spot at the Tremaine “No Limits” convention in Indianapolis, IN, and the “Most Dedicated” award from Gus. Summer lives in Lincoln Square and attends sixth grade at Waters Elementary, a fine and performing arts magnet school. Outside of dance, Summer loves traveling with her family, laughing with friends, and taking care of her three lizards. She is thrilled to continue her creative journey at Extensions Dance Company this year.
