Krista graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in Business Management, Dance Minor, and a Performing Arts Entrepreneurship Certificate. Following graduation, she moved to Chicago to pursue a professional career in Arts Administration. Krista is a long-standing choreographer for BOOM CRACK! Dance Company, the Assistant Artistic Director of BOOM BOX! Dance Company, and Artistic Director of BANG BANG Dance Company. She has taught a number of workshops across the Midwest, and has served as a guest choreographer at Whitney Young High School, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Central Dance Academy and Chicago Luvabulls Dance Team. She also teaches annually for Hubbard Street’s Summer Intensives.
