Hillary Aarons
Bio
Hillary Aarons choreographs and teaches for theatre, musical theatre, film, comedy, and concert dance throughout Chicagoland. Recent credits include choreography for Chicago Children’s Theatre, The House Theatre of Chicago, The Actor’s Gymnasium, Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, and UV Theater Project. In May 2017, she curated, produced, and choreographed a work in HEAD ON – an evening of dance by female and non-binary artists at Links Hall, with the proceeds benefiting Dance Peace, an organization that provides arts education to refugees in Chicago. She is the choreographer of the dance film, Glamour Baby, an official selection for the 40 North Dance Film Festival. She believes that learning tap brings students into personal relationship with music that they can hone throughout their lives and careers as dancers. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
