Emilie is 11 years old and is a 6th grader at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School in Wilmette, IL. She is very excited to continue her dance journey with Extensions Dance Company for the 3rd year. Emilie began dancing around the age of 3, when her mom noticed her twirling around the house looking cute in a tutu dress. She loves all types of dance but the contemporary genre is definitely her favorite.  Outside of dance, she is also a passionate rhythmic gymnast. This very artistic sport helps her improve flexibility and balance, being a great complement to dance. In her free time, Emilie loves spending time with her friends, making TikTok videos, playing with her dog Benji, reading, and traveling abroad with her family. She is very excited to take on more challenges and grow in the dance world with Extensions Dance Company, learning from Lizzie Mackenzie and all the incredible and dedicated teachers and choreographers at Extensions. Emilie is also very grateful for all the friendships she has made with the company members whose talents and achievements continue to be a big inspiration to her.
