Dylan is a sophomore at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, and she is entering her fifth year at Extensions Dance Company. Dylan started her dancing journey when she was 3. Ever since then, she has been hooked. When she performs there’s a sparkle in her eye and a heart ready to burst with every move embodying her passion. Dylan has been able to dance with amazing faculty over her past years at Extensions: Lizzie MacKenzie, Jared Baker, Christian Denise, Brian Rabenda, Garth Johnson and Miranda Borkan. This year, she founded the Orchesis program at Saint Ignatius with Lizzie MacKenzie as the artistic director. She has been able to become a leader and grow her love of dance in her very own school. Over the past years, Dylan has attended Elements Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Matters, Tribe Dance and Hubbard Street Summer Intensive. Extensions has helped Dylan develop her into the dancer she is today. A special thanks to Lizzie MacKenzie for endless encouragement and love.
