Chihiro is a senior at Indiana university online highschool, and this will be her third year with Extensions Dance Company. Since she was four years old, she has been a competitive figure skater and as part of her training regime, she took ballet and hip hop. From a young age, she knew she enjoyed the artistic side of figure skating and thus, decided to switch to dance last year. So far, her favorite style of dance is hip hop. Every Time she’s in class or on stage she always feels excited to grow and happy to be learning new things. But when times get rough for her, she always reminds herself to work hard and to not let minor mistakes get to her and put her down. She always kept that in mind especially last year when she first started dancing and everything was new to her but thanks to the amazing teachers at Extensions, she’s thrilled to be starting a new year with them.
