Channing Giese is 10 years old and in the 5th grade at The Latin School of Chicago. This will be Channing’s fifth year with Extensions Dance Company and her third with Extensions Too!. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn from the best instructors and to dance with great friends. Channing is excited for the new season. She is thrilled to be a founding member of the Chicago City Classical Ballet, under the direction of Tatyana Mazur.  Channing also looks forward to continuing to grow as a dancer and individual while being part of a dedicated and supportive program at Extensions.

Channing began dancing at the age of 3, and completed six years of dance training at The Joffrey Academy of Dance. She attended the Joffrey Junior Summer Intensive in 2017, 2018 & 2019. This past summer she loved attending the Houston Ballet summer intensive and the ABT summer intensive.

Channing is full of energy. When she isn’t dancing at Extensions, you are likely to find her dancing at home. She loves to create costumes for her self-choreographed dance pieces. She also enjoys collecting stuffed animals, playing games, playing with her American Girl dolls, eating macarons and snuggling with her  puppy, Chloe.
