Vera
Bio
Vera is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade at Abraham Lincoln Elementary in Chicago. She took her first ballet class at age 3 but never got to finish it or perform in a recital due to the Covid 19 pandemic. She started back up with ballet when she was 5 at a recreational dance school but her parents thought she would do much better at a school that was more structured and that’s how they found Extensions Dance! At age 6 Vera took a ballet class and the beginner hip hop class, but ultimately fell in love with the hip hop class. This is her second year in the beginner hip hop class and her first year with the Kidz Movin’ Hip Hop Crew! She kept asking if she had made it and once she found out she did, she was floored and is determined to prove she belongs. She absolutely loves Miss Regan and her fellow dancers. Vera is so grateful her parents switched her to Extensions Dance because she’s has improved her dance skills and has also become so much more confident and comfortable with herself under the direction of experienced teachers and a positive environment.
Vera’s two favorite things are dancing and cooking, but she also enjoys drawing, reading and spending time with her family.
Vera’s family is looking forward to watching Vera’s continuous improvement under the tutelage of Miss Lizzie and her fabulous faculty at Extensions Dance!
