This is Lincoln’s third year with Extensions Dance Company. He is always looking for new ways to create. Lincoln took his first dance class at age 12, beginning with Hip Hop at Gus Giordano Dance School. He has since studied ballet and is currently part of The Chicago City Classical Ballet here at Extensions Dance Center. In addition to his ballet training he also trains in Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Horton, Tap, West African and Ballroom. As an emerging young artist, he attended West Coast Dance Explosion in 2019, where he received a finalist award for a West Coast scholarship and he has been an outstanding dancer runner up at New York City Dance Alliance as well. Lincoln’s introduction to Extensions was through his close friend and now fellow company member, Gefen Horn, who in turn introduced him to Lizzie Mackenzie and the amazing faculty at Extensions Dance Center who have pushed him and helped cultivate his passion for movement. With determination, support, and continuous training Lincoln is working to ensure a career in dance.
