Dejana’s favorite style of dance is Contemporary and she says that working one-on-one with Miss Lizzie is “like a dream come true.” She is so inspired by her and works very hard to make her proud. She is so grateful that Miss Lizzie took her on as a Petite Company member her first year and is so excited to be a part of the Petite and Extensions Too! company this year. She loves the bonds she’s created with her group and all the dancer at Extensions. Dejana is also in a Serbian Folklore Dance group that performs many weekends at various locations throughout the midwest.

When Dejana grows up, she wants to move to New York City and become a famous dance instructor/choreographer. Her favorite place in the whole entire world is Times Square. In her spare time, Dejana is still dancing, improvising to “sad music,” playing school, playing dress-up, and bossing her older sisters around.
