Avery is nine years old, and is in the 4th grade at Near North Montessori School. She is now in her fourth year with Extensions and her second year on the Petite Company. From the day she danced in frilly tutus around the house to now, Avery has harbored a special kind of passion for dancing. Her favorite style is jazz, and she finds performing onstage quite exciting! She always strives to do her best work and push past her limits. After all, her favorite quote is “Let’s break down these barriers”. No words can express the gratitude she has for Lizzie, Lauren,  and all the Extensions faculty, families, and dancers for creating such an energetic, inspiring, and welcoming space to continue to grow as a dancer and a person. Outside of dance, Avery enjoys acting in her school’s plays and improv club, playing with her doll house, crafting, and having fun with her friends. She simply cannot wait for what’s going to come this year!
