There is nothing we love more than when our young artists put their creativity and unique perspective out there for the world to see. Because she was “bored” at home in her house, longtime Extensionite @nicole_noe05 put this little vid together and we can’t stop watching it!!!! You’ve got some skills, girlfriend!!! 💜💜.

The cats out of the bag! @gabrielrochaj has committed to the University of Arizona BFA program with a substantial merit scholarship and an academic scholarship to boot. We are beyond thrilled for him, as we know he will grow immensely and be loved and appreciated in this top top notch, and very selective dance program. He started at Extensions in the summer of 2013 from ground zero, a true beginner... by 2014 he took the picture in the grey pants and denim top, (age 12) by 2015 he was killing the arabesque and partnering game as pictured, and 2016 he was starting to blossom into a dancer, a true Artist. Day 3 of @_angramirez !!! She has officially committed to SUNY Purchase BFA program, highly regarded as one of the top dance programs in the country. This Young Arts winner and overall super star ARTIST will bring her A-game to SUNY, and she is very excited for what the school will offer her as well. Congratulations, Angie!! Today begins 5 days of memories with graduating senior @_angramirez, on what would have been the week leading up to her final showcase. Driven to succeed from the beginning, always exactly who she is, there has never been anything else for her. Dance is it. She’s that kid... and you know it as soon as you watch her move. We celebrate you, your incredible artist spirit and your immense successes Angie. These pictures were from her first year as a founding member of Extensions Too! during the 2011-2012 season, she was 9 years old. Not sure which one is her? Look for the large head adornment 😜

We need you, TONIGHT! Tune in to YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) Facebook page and watch the livestream beginning at 6pm CST. Vote for #14, “Safely Rest” by Chicago City Classical Ballet (our classical Company), with choreography by @skizziemack. ****HOW TO VOTE: During the livestream, leave a comment letting them know the name of your favorite Ensemble AND be sure to tag the corresponding school within the same comment. Voting will remain open for 24 hours after each video ends, after which votes will be tallied. You may vote for multiple pieces, however only one vote per person will be counted per piece.
